Who could resist painting this scene. The warmth of fall precedes the cold of winter. The two seasons are dueling before my eyes. The regularity of nature brings peace. I’ve seen it before, and it’s alright. In painting this place I wanted the elements of nature to fit together and remind me that everything will be all right, even as change is inevitable.
